CHAPTER 6 - The Universal Consciousness

The Universal Consciousness
is unlimited and contains unlimited wealth. There is plenty of everything in it, and it constantly creates more of everything. It expresses itself through everything, including you the individual. The problem is that negative thoughts and attitudes hamper the natural tendency of the Universal Consciousness to freely manifest its creative powers in unlimited ways.

Einstein declared over eighty years ago that matter and energy are interchangeable. Within twenty years after his eloquent formulation of E=mc2, another huge revolution shook the foundations of our worldview again.

At the atomic scale, when you examine the nature of the basic building blocks of the universe, you will see only packets of probabilities. At this most basic level matter is nothing more or less than a field of potential and probabilities. At the most basic level, matter is nothing other than a field of potential and possibilities. Even more bizarre, scientist speculate that just mere intention alone is enough to influence this level of reality. Think about this for a moment and you'll begin to understand the infinite power you naturally have access to the Universal Consciousness.

There is an intelligent entity within nature, which is mystical because it cannot be fully comprehended by the conceptual mind. It seems that everything, which comes into being, is the result of this natural intelligence, which does not set out to create or do anything, but everything is done which implies that god or nature is too intelligent for the need to think.

This entity that causes life and matter to come into being is intelligence
of thought and that this mystical intelligence causes self-organising systems to evolve. True reality comes from the source of the universal intelligence, but the reality we see with the five senses is the reality we create from our desires.

Natural events do take place without divine or human involvement that suggests that gods or minds are not behind the workings of the natural world. Yet, there seems to be some form of natural intelligence coordinating events.

The environment is not just a multitude of living organisms
, it contains a natural process and this process causes life to come into existence or causes life to act or react according to natural forces within their environment. There are many forms of life, which do not have ‘brains’, and so they do not have to think, but in order to survive, they need to make intelligent use of internal and external ‘information’

When the human species came into existence they eventually acquired the ability to communicate with each other through language
and although this was an important step towards human development, this ability was actually an invented form of intelligence that commenced with sounds and then words.

Human knowledge
and intelligence can be compared and measured, but there is no comparison or measure for natural intelligence. We accumulate more and more knowledge and each experience strengthens our knowledge. The human brain is a natural organ, which has the potential to cause intelligence, but brains and other organs are merely vehicles for this implied mystical intelligence of the universal consciousness. We should not confuse human intelligence with natural intelligence and we should also realise that thoughts would never have come into being without the primary entity of this mystical entity.

Professor Paul Davies
claimed that consciousness would soon be part of physics. If this theory of a Universal Consciousness were correct, it would confirm that a spiritual or mystical intelligence is devoid of thought because it existed long before brains or minds came into being.

This natural intelligence or mystical consciousness is a timeless universal entity, therefore, it is identical in all things, however, it is completely different to what is know as human consciousness: Actually, there is no difference, however, we need to realise that our natural consciousness is primary and we need it so as to think, but all thought is secondary and of less importance which means the real dimension
of the mind is impossible to convey by using ordinary words or thoughts. The most significant things that separate people are their different thoughts and beliefs. This does not imply that we should all think alike, but it means we would have the opportunity to become intelligent only if we accepted actual facts and eliminated all beliefs.

The Intelligent Substance of the universe, which is All, and in All, and which lives in you is a Living Substance. Being a consciously living universe, it must have the nature and inherent desire that every living intelligence for increase of life.

To continue with beliefs, if someone begins to question a particular belief and decides to change to another then the new belief usually becomes ultimate. To become rich you must think rich
and you must liberate the last vestige of the old idea that there is a Deity whose will it is that you should be poor, or whose purposes may be served by keeping you in poverty.

One can either exist in the past or sense each moment, or at least some moments, as being new and meaningful. If we question our past concepts of mind then we may be inspired by our own conclusions, the ultimate of which is to learn how to eliminate destructive thoughts and emotions
and to find out why we believe certain things and events, which are not. Every living thing must continually seek for the enlargement of its life, because life, in the mere act of living, must increase itself. A seed, dropped into the ground, springs into activity, and in the act of living produces a hundred more seeds; life, by living, multiplies itself. It is forever Becoming More; it must do so, if it continues to be at all.

Every thought we think makes it necessary for us to think another thought; consciousness is continually expanding. Every fact we learn leads us to the learning of another fact; knowledge is continually increasing. Every talent
we cultivate brings to the mind the desire to cultivate another talent; we are subject to the urge of life, seeking expression, which ever drives us on to know more, to do more, and to be more.

The One Living Substance must be subject to this inherent law of all life; it is permeated with the desire to live more; that is why it is under the necessity of creating things. The One Substance desires to live more in you; hence it wants you to have all the things you can use. It is the desire of the universal consciousness that you should become rich. The universe desires you to have everything you want to have. Nature is friendly to your plans. Everything is naturally for you. Make up your mind that this is true. It is essential.

You need to open your mind to prosperity and throw away your limiting thoughts. It does not matter how limited your life and circumstances are at the present moment, because if you choose to change your thoughts and attitudes, and start thinking without imposing limitations, your life will start to change. In your mind, refuse to be tied and limited by your circumstances. Think about possibilities, not about limitations.

There is a thinking universe from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of our lives. An image in the mind produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon a formless image, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.

The universe is an unlimited store of opportunity waiting to be tapped for the betterment of life. You can secure your bountiful by understanding  and Believing
this basic belief.

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.”
 Ralph Waldo Emerson
